I saved my table before restarting my computer and now I can't seem to open it, I tried looking at the code in notepad++ and nothings there but the table is still the same file size

do a disck checkn perhaps the filesystem is messed up.
alternatively perhaps your anti virus protected you by deleting the contents of the cheat table

Strange. Did you refresh the folder to make sure that the size is correct? What is the size of the file? Have you tried copying the file to the desktop and opening it from there? Did you try running notepad++ as administrator?

If you've done all of that and the file size is still that large, then I would consider DB's comment and assume that a 3rd-party app may be interfering.

Upload the file somewhere and maybe someone can send it back to you in text format.

EDIT:
You can PM me the link for the file if DB is busy.

The file is worthless. Data is there, but it has all been zeroed out. Sorry.

You might consider setting up an auto-save feature within CE to avoid these issues in the future. Here is an old option:

Hi, I have the same problem with a cheat, all the others I have are working fine, this gives me that error, how do I fix it?
I did the disk check and antivirus but nothing.

1) A small, overlooked error in the .CT format may have triggered an error in the .Cetrainer format.

2) The CE version in which the trainer was created may be causing errors with current versions.
2a) Instruct the user to try installing the CE version in which the trainer was created or the latest available CE version.
2b) If you still have it, open and edit the .CT table with the current CE, package it as Cetrainer, and try using it again.

3) If the trainer is pulling and loading its working content from a remote server, it may also give this error message when it cannot access the content. Recheck the cloud server and its installation and execution habits.

4) Ensure that "io.open" and similar installations running with .CT are not set to "nil" when encrypting (user-specific obfuscation) the Cetrainer content.

For some reason, I find the second possibility more likely, especially since I've observed that recent updates don't open the trainers for older versions, and as someone who needed to reorganize the .CT table with the latest version...
