So a month into my summer break

I live in a very small city which only has one store, and it has dextromethorphan syrup (3 in stock max). Well at least, it used to, until I started buying it, and now they don't wanna restock it because they keep running out (I keep buying it)

In other words, I bought all the dxm ;_;

This is what happens when I don't have access to shit

i dont really see the hype behind dxm i tried it once and i was way too high and throughout the trip i was just like why the fuck did i drink a bunch of cough syrup, this is fucked. and then i puked

like homestly that was oen of the few times in my life where i thoght "i would rather be sober right now"

Okay, first of all, Acid has nothing to do with ketamine or dxm. DXM is a dissociative, whereas lysergic acid diethylamide is a psychedelic. Apples and oranges, they both yield a unique experience.

Also, you can use the cold water extraction process to obtain pure dxm powder but that's only if you're a junkie like TheIndianGuy.

That's false, but true in my case. Right now I don't have access to "real" drugs (I'm assuming by "real" drugs you mean psychedelics)
And the reason it's over-the-counter is not because it's in any way a "kiddie drug", but rather, the greed of pharmaceutical companies (big pharma) and the fact that all the other comparable alternatives are either highly addictive (codeine) or not as effective (Diphenhydramine, acetaminophen; yes, they're used for cough too in places where dxm is banned)

Dissociation can be pretty interesting but in no way is it comparable to the mind expanding qualities of psylocibin mushrooms or even LSD. It is more of an experiment kinda thing.

And yes, you're right about the brain damage. Since dxm floods the blood-brain barrier and leaves a lot of residue (it doesn't leave your system for weeks after a dose), it's considered toxic to your organs and your brain and can result in death at high doses.

Though most people just end up frying their liver due to the guaifenesin

But I wouldn't call someone a "pussy" to try DXM, most of them are teens, like indianguy said, have no sources to softer drugs like marijuana, but that does not mean that DXM is in any way an "easy" drug. It has taken lives, it's serious shit, the toxicity needs months of medication to be treated properly, and some people just never leave the dissociative state even after the drug wears out (toxic psychosis)

Can someone actually tell me what DXM does though? because when i tried it the effects were very interesting but hard to exactly say what they were.
