Guys, please don't misunderstand my point. I'm not advocating DXM use here, in fact, I realize that it is more dangerous than alcohol.

Yeah, "fucked up", but not in the way you'd expect. People have been known to reach into fires thinking it was water (hallucinating water bottles), drank poison thinking it was water, fried their kidneys, it's definitely a lot worse than DXM.

It's a dissociative. While psychedelics like the psylocibin mushrooms make you a part of your surroundings, dissociatives like DXM detach you from your surroundings, your speech is the foremost to be affected, goes to a slow, monotonous flat pitch, down to a whisper, to being unable to speak at all. Walking at 2nd plateau is difficult at first, but you can build a tolerance to it. Movement is VERY ROBOTIC. If you see it from a third person, it seems to be very mechanical. I've only done DXM three times, but the robot like movement seems to have never faded away (I'm a month clean). It's hard to describe it in words, but before you make any limb movements, it's going to register in your brain in a very robot-like manner. Somewhere along the trip you may have some respiratory depression. While moving you may feel like you're floating. Eventually, with continued use you're going to become a tard and fry your brain permanently, or develop dissociative identity disorder. I've only used DXM a few times and I can feel lots of effects being permanent. I still feel like a fucking robot, trapped in a box. Eat, sleep, work, study, repeat. I have a feeling I've also gotten end-of-life anxiety (I hope not though). It is in the end, my own fault for using a drug that has been known to worsen conditions in those suffering from mental disorders. Guys, I know it is an over the counter drug, but please do not underestimate the power of a drug just because it is in found in easily available medicine.

Intelligence is subjective
Rabbits lick their own ass, that's pretty intelligent for them. Wouldn't be so intelligent if we did it though
