I'm looking to bypass the anti windows debugger a game uses. VEH debugger is detected and I can't use kernelmode because of my current CPU, though I'm planning an upgrade in less than a year.

I'd like to use the Windows Debugger for various reasons but it's detected. How can I go about getting it to work? Thanks.

You can try changing the breakpoint settings to use hardware ones and not overwrite existing ones?

If the game has some sort of DRM-type crap that runs separately and scans active processes (so it's general cheat protection and not just anti-debugger stuff) you may just need a crack or bypass for the game.

porbably its detecting cheatengine's veh library ?(vehdebug-i386.dll or vehdebug-x86_64.dll)

you can try Stealtheditv2 plugin, redirect the target adderss to debug, then do breakpoints in the new memory page, might work.

If stealthedit isn't working, you might look to see if CE is being detected, specifically, as there are ways to circumvent that detection. Have you tried Ollydbg or other to rule that out? The target may need to be patched, otherwise.

Use ollydb 1.10 + strongod plugin, this one never gets detected.
