It was alright. I expected better though.
People at school were all like "THAT MOVIE WAS WAY BETTER THAN DISTRICT NINE!!!"
Got my hopes up, severely disappointed.

Why? District 9 was amazing, surpassed my hopes and expectations. A lot of (action) movies have met my expectations actually.

That was for the first 20 minutes (more or less) of the movie. You should probably watch it now.
I don't understand how that's a bad thing though. You're probably one of those people that bitch about the camera shaking in Cloverfield.

I enjoyed the documentary style. It made it seem more...real? It was used nicely to bring you into the story, then it shifted to a more cinematic style to drive the movie home.
Can you tell I like district 9?
