Lucy finally kisses him at the end I was hoping that they'd get together and live a happy life.
The last few episodes were pretty sad and I cried my eyes out. How the man killed his daughter with a bomb and the main character finally got his memory back.

Hasn't everyone around here watched it? If you haven't you should.
Oh and Lucy is actually one of Elfens friends from eight years ago who had a crush on him and killed his Dad and his Sister because he lied about going to a festival with his cousin who he said was a guy but she was actually a girl and Lucy became jealous and assumed that they were lovers when it reality he had to take his cousin and he would have rather taken Lucy.

Sure bro, I'll recommend them in the style you are most accustomed to:
# Code Geass - Season 1 & 2
- Lelouch, the protagonist, dies due to self sacrifice. This all happens after Shirley finds out who he is, and accepts him for all that he is. Unfortunately his 'brother' Rolo kills her. His half sister dies as well. He compels her into killing all of the 'Elevens' by losing control of his power right when jokingly telling her 'I could even make you desire to kill all of the Elevens, who you fought so hard to protect' or something along those lines. She gets shot during the massacre she instigated under the influence of Geass.
# Gantz
- Everybody dies. And I do mean everybody. I'm not making a pun like 'ha but in the beginning they were all already dead'. No. I mean they get revived into the small room, and you get episode after episode of characters dying. To make matters worse, the protagonist DOES NOT get the girl. He's also a failure of a protagonist though. He's a borderline rapist, does not care to help others until the very, very end (where he gets hit by a train), and only gets a quick lay with an older woman that dies to protect him about one or two episodes after.
# Death Note
- Kira dies, L dies. That's all that matters. I'm also fairly certain there was some homo erotic shit going on between Kira and L. Although I'm thinking Kira only pretended to be gay for L to get his name. Nothing happens though, in case you were hoping.
There bro, recommended some anime in the style you are most familiar with.
