# Code Geass - Season 1 & 2
- Lelouch, the protagonist, dies due to self sacrifice. This all happens after Shirley finds out who he is, and accepts him for all that he is. Unfortunately his 'brother' Rolo kills her. His half sister dies as well. He compels her into killing all of the 'Elevens' by losing control of his power right when jokingly telling her 'I could even make you desire to kill all of the Elevens, who you fought so hard to protect' or something along those lines. She gets shot during the massacre she instigated under the influence of Geass.
# Gantz
- Everybody dies. And I do mean everybody. I'm not making a pun like 'ha but in the beginning they were all already dead'. No. I mean they get revived into the small room, and you get episode after episode of characters dying. To make matters worse, the protagonist DOES NOT get the girl. He's also a failure of a protagonist though. He's a borderline rapist, does not care to help others until the very, very end (where he gets hit by a train), and only gets a quick lay with an older woman that dies to protect him about one or two episodes after.
# Death Note
- Kira dies, L dies. That's all that matters. I'm also fairly certain there was some homo erotic shit going on between Kira and L. Although I'm thinking Kira only pretended to be gay for L to get his name. Nothing happens though, in case you were hoping.
