I want to slow down or freeze a program.
I've already tried Cheat Engine's set speed option. It didn't work.
Suggestions anyone? _________________

Slowing down would be more helpful as I am trying to rip sprites from a game and I need it slowed down to catch the frames. _________________

| You're ripping them straight from the game, or you're trying to slow down a program that is? What's your method of doing it, by the way? I was thinking you could just use Fraps or other screen recorder (depending on the game's display method) and rip out stills with VirtualDub. |

VBA->OAM Viewer->Save->Photoshop->Select->Color Range->Delete
I'll try speedgear.
EDIT:
Speedgear didn't work either. _________________

After reading this, I remembered a nifty little program I used to speed up MS a looooooong time ago.
Hope it works for you. |

Do this:
Control + Shift + Esc, go to Processes tab, look for the process you want to slow, right click, go to Set Priority, and choose BelowNormal or Low. |

I'm sorry if this is off topic but how do you "speed up" an MMORPG? Can you actually make the game go faster? _________________

Oh yeah, I thought I edited my post.
No it didn't work. =[
It seems that the emulator somehow avoids using the rendering process that actual games use.
BTW, if anyone wants to see the game I'm working on, go to my site(drkgodz.squad coding.com) _________________

VBA has a way to slow down the game built in. options > frame skip > throttle. _________________
