Linear algerbra is not that hard, to add. Trig is easy too. But what's really challenging is getting into those calculus questions Laughing

Linear algebra is not the same as algebra. Linear algebra is studied AFTER Calculus in university mathematics. At my university, you start linear algebra during Calculus 3 (at the end of the class).

XNA I've found is not fantastic for 3D, and is much better used for 2d and/or simpler games, due to the RAD nature of C#. Prove me wrong, but I prefer a much higher-level package.

If you want C#, try NeoAxis engine or Axiom(Which is just for rendering graphics).

HIGHER-LEVEL? What, you prefer VB or something. C# is fine and even runs on the xbox360. Of course, lower level languages are gonna be needed in a massive game though.

I meant a package, not language. Meaning I prefer axiom or realmforge over pure DX or OpenGL.

If you really want maximum performance for your particular game, write your own renderer, but if you're fine with a broader system, use a pre-made renderer.
