The GHz that they use is not at the 1024MHz=1GHz?
Thought it was, oh well, learned something new then.
And true the GHz does not equal speed, but it is a good way to approximate how CPU's compare against one another. (Well, apples to apples that is...)

He didn't mean 1024mhz doesn't equal 1Ghz...he just meant that Ghz (as in the actual 'clock speed') isn't a good performance indicator.
It sort of was way back when, but thats all changed now.
