| with CE you cant but if you break into another PC that could get you to jail. But I think it is very difficult to be catched if you dont hack important websites or servers.

Hacking is breaking into anothers pc, that is illegal.
With CE you only change info on your pc, even if it is an online game like club penguin. Dont worry about that "you go to the jail" stuff while you use CE.

Hacking with CE is only editing the memory on your system, which the company of the game you are hacking does not own. They have no legal say in what you do the memory on your system. Blizzard has tried to sue someone for making a trainer (I think it was for one of the old Warcraft games) but lost the court case because the judge ruled the company did not own the memory on the kids machine.
Server side hacking however is illegal. Theres different levels of what you can do legally with hacking online games. But when packets come into play you can get yourself into trouble depending on how far in depth you go.

| You are indirectly editing packets at times with CE though. The memory you change is read then a packet from your client sent to the server so you are indirectly packet editing ? If the server authenticates the packets it received as valid and it acts based on those then did you not just make a server-sided hack ?

HACKING, is using a certain program to get inside the other users Computer without thier knowledge and casuing a certain amount of damage to the pc, it can range from sending virusus to using credit card information. Hacking GAMES is not ILLEGAL if its not SERVER SIDED. Server Sided games are UNHACKABLE *like Runescape*, ANY game that needs REAL MONEY to play, and u try to hack it, You CAN go to jail.
*note: HACKING RUNESCAPE IS NOT AUTOFIGHTERS,AUTOCUTTERS, ETC!!!* These are just bots to help you level up in the game.

Hacking is a term that can be used for a verity of different things. It is not singled to intruding into another system.

Not all 'server-sided' games are unhackable. Hacking a game that you don't pay for can have the same consequences as any that you do have to pay to play as well.

It depends on how your hacking. Hacking games like RuneScape and other server-sided games can get you to jail. If you use a trainer to hack Club Penguin, your fine. If someone sues you for using a trainer, you'll win the case since your only changing your system's memory. If you HACK someone else like damaging their computer or getting their credit card info or personal info, pack ur stuff. Your going ta jail, buddy.

| CE only edits what is being transmitted TO your pc not what is being sent.
