So gay, I want to make simple DFDs and ERs, but apparently everyone thinks UML is better,as there are a million UML modelling tools, and hardly any DFD/ER ones (that are free). I'd use UML, but I don't want to take the time to brush up on it just to be able to model simple data flows.

Already know parts of it (that is, some of the models). And I never said it was bad, I'd just rather not waste an hour or two learning something to simply model data flow.

What are you modeling? Because in general, CASE tools do not model non-functional system requirements.

Need to model a system that already exists. So really I suppose a CARE system would work if it can do VB (old VB, no .NET). Honestly though, I prefer to do it by hand.
