So gay, I want to make simple DFDs and ERs, but apparently everyone thinks UML is better,as there are a million UML modelling tools, and hardly any DFD/ER ones (that are free). I'd use UML, but I don't want to take the time to brush up on it just to be able to model simple data flows.

What are you modeling? Because in general, CASE tools do not model non-functional system requirements.

Need to model a system that already exists. So really I suppose a CARE system would work if it can do VB (old VB, no .NET). Honestly though, I prefer to do it by hand.
