Yeah, you'll want to fix some of the proportions. The head seems too big, and as Admin pointed out, the lack of a neck worsens it.

It's called an SVD (Dragunov) by the way.

Other than below, it's rather good, the posture is fairly realistic, and it's better than my sniper pose. Also shade the clothes if you can.

its ok but I would recommend you to work a lot more in the sketching before start coloring.

constructive critics:

1) Face, you know what you have to do .... (Redo it all)

2) you did an excellent work with your characters left hand, the right hand looks odd

3) if your character is flat shaded why your weapon is beveled ?

4) weapon should have perfect straight and curve lines everywhere and not that messy pulse curves.

5) hair is too simple like to try and go into so much detail in shape like you tried. you should draw minimum detail on hair strands and then do the details at the shading and coloring.


6) the pose is kind of wrong, when holding a rifle you hold the weight of it with the right shoulder lowering it a little and raising your left shoulder leaning a bit up and forth as you aim so neck shouldn't be omitted.

7) where FaecTrull said "A humans Join is not that pointy" , lies, its ok just add some lines there to simulate the cloth folding and its ok.

Now that I know who you're trying to draw, I can tell you this. It looks very off. Try making in more detailed.
