I'm asking this because I've created a Java MMORPG. I tried hacking it for a bit.. No success. I tried pointer scanning and all that stuff. Yeah, I attached to javaw.exe. Does java store variables differently like flash does? (Ex: Flash = var * Cool

If you wrote it, why are you asking us?

Depends on how much you trust the client... most MMO's handle collision / movement among other things on the client to keep server load / bandwidth down. This is also why some older games, and ghetto Korean MMO's use a click to move system, as it's much easier on the server.

I'm just asking if it's possible to inject the JVM with ASM code. Or pointer scan, so you can maybe see how many people are in your map.

When it's completly in Java, it is hackable cause client sided.

Otherwise, depends on how you made it..

no...Its still sends data to server cause it is a Multiplayer.
