|
|
Hi,
I got this idea from a pixel-based botting program called mmbot. Basically, when you download the bot and run the file to install it, it asks to fill in your CEF member name in order to finish the setup. It then verifies with the database if your name is in it, and if not, then it stops the download process.
If your aim is to get more members, then this would be a good idea. However, it may also attract many unwanted memberships that may cause a lot of problems to the CEF community. I guess you could also try to implement a post check also in order to eliminate some of them, but this may also induce spammers and such.
Thanks,
Mapleblitzer.

It would be easier for people to make an account and post once.
This would also create a great amount of spam and leechers asking how to use the program.

this wouldnt be a great idea since it would attract TONS of other members which would probably overload DB's server just like last time so he'd have to move again, plus people could just share username and pass'

To much potential to want to steal logins.
Why even have such things on a free released piece of software anyway.
