Yes, I know I could just go find the address's AOBs and change it manually, but I'm writing a script to do it for me, because I'm just that lazy. ;)

Now, I know you can't do something like

Code:

mov <address>, <value of AOBs you want>

or something like that. Isn't there a specific command like the one below?

Code:

mov byte ptr

Also, for those thinking of DB, I don't want the ones to the left of the address, I want the ones on the bottom of the memory editor... or are those AOBs the same thing? o.o

keep little endian in mind:

if you want to change one byte
mov byte ptr

if you want to change 2 bytes word ptr 4 bytes dword ptr 8 bytes qword ptr.

You own.

Thanks a ton, that clears a lot of stuff up for me. =)

Edit:

So it would be like

Code:

mov word ptr, 32

Or what? [32] ?

32 isnt a word...

mov word ptr [ADDRESS],3240

when this is executed the aob will be 40 32. (little endian)

Ah, I see.

Ok, now two things:

First, an AOB is more than just a QWORD, so if I say mov qword ptr [whatever], whatever, it's going to take the last 8 bytes, right?

And as for Little Endian...

If I'm changing a QWORD, then I would have to do like:

Code:

mov qword ptr 12345678, 12 23 34 45 56 67 78 89

in order for the AOBs at 12345678 to be

Code:

89 78 67 56 45 34 23 12

Correct?

Edit:

Do I use cmp in the same way as mov?

Code:

cmp qword ptr [12345678], 12 23 34 45 56 67 78 89

mhmm... but no spaces. and there is no specified length for any aob. it can be as short or as long as you like.
