Thats got to be the crappiest bot i ever heard of. They think the player is holding down the shoot key......LMFAO.....

Pfffft. It will get a bypass just like everything else. I wonder if they teamed up with valve or purchased copywrite to some of it. Punk buster tried to do something like a merge and value didnt go for it.

Yeah, well get ready for some false bans when they try this. They will get innocent users here. PunkBuster has already banned innocent users. I have a friend i grew up with that played Joint operations legit and he got ban by PB saying he had hacks. So yeah i would say this is going to happen to some. I mean really, do you think you can tell if a click sent it a player or a person, I guess you could if it was spammed, But if you time it. Then i dont think so. Only if there is a client install such as GG or something. But that will get a bypass in the long run.
So by looking at the first quote and the last quote it looks like the whole system is watching key input and a few opengl or directx hooking options. LOL looks no different then all the rest it think.

PB managed to get a screenshot of a friend just as he was alt tabbing back in game and it got a whacky picture. He ended up on Punksbusted banlist for the game I think. Other than that, I've never seen a false positive.
It's kind of a good idea though, I don't like online cheating.

I wonder if it would do it if you reassigned the keys instead of alt tab.
or
Used a windowing utility.
I bet it is checking "minimized" or not lol...

this isn't hardware but software, and installed on other people's systems, not yours.
All it does it detect when someone is looking straight at you and following while you're on the other side of a brick wall, etc..

great
this hopefully will improve AMD sales, they are a better cheaper chip anyway
waiting for the AM3 to come out next year ( if it does that is lol )
yes and I dont use online cheats but I have found I have been auto banned from servers that I have never even been on before, sometimes due to punkbuster, other times to a blanket ip ban,
so intels anticheat software will do the gaming world a lot of harm if history is anything to go by, just a shame its software in fact, cos intel will make sure it harms AMD as much as possible as well eh

actually, I still say get intel's since you can emulate hardware with that and I already have a working tool to do that. (amd64's can do that too, but I don't have one so you can wait a long time for me to make a amd64 version)
This tool even makes me able to hack the kernel in vista64
also, because this anti-cheat system is in software these pattern recognition alchoritms also work on amd systems
heh, thats basicly why, since it's a anti-cheat system for amd as well, and new intel chips have a way to bypass that anti-cheat system this will actually hurt amd more than intel...

yeah funny coincedence that it will hurt AMD more isnt it, wonder if that will lead to another court case between them after all the anti-trust cases,
by the way I am using a 64bit amd 939 pin so I got hardware emulation eh,
anyway not meaning to get to far off topic but my biggest problem with intel is there bullying bussiness tactics,
but back on topic, I guess AMD will be working on a fix for intels so-called anti-cheating but really anti amd software soon enough lol
