Cheat Engine

I did a search, and came up with so much information that its going to take me days to get through it all, so...

I've been 'hacking' (leeching) for ages, and with nothing better to do, I want to learn how to actually hack Maple Story. I need some guides that will get me started on how to make a UCE, what a UCE actually is and how it works, and most importantly, they have to be basic, and hopefully not outdated. Ive already got the BIG Easy Learning Guide by Banaantje and the Basic Assembly Tut by Skyone, but I still need more.

I'll repeat again I DID a search and too much information came up, and a lot of it wasn't really basic enough... I want to start from scratch so I can learn to hack by myself instead of leeching off others.

Well... If you don't know how to hack( I mean hack, not tick little boxes that execute scripts that you leeched ) then I suggest you first do the tutorial that comes with Cheat Engine.

Umm yeah another thing I'm not even sure what Cheat Engine is, so thats kinda embarrassing... I guess I'll find it myself so thanks for that... any other tuts (like on how to make my own UCE?)

Dude, don't even think about making a UCE right now, not on your level.
This is the Cheat Engine forum, a UCE is an Undetectable Cheat Engine, used for games with protection software such as GameGuard, XTrap, and PunkBuster. Cheat Engine is actually a memory modifying tool, and could be used for things other than hacking just games.

Anyways, without furthur ado, heres Cheat Engine.

When you first run it, you should be presented with 2 dialog boxes, one will ask if you want to associate Cheat Engine with Cheat Tables, the other if you want to try out a tutorial. If you want an example, I made a video on how to hack 3D Pinball (Which is included in Windows XP). You can find my video here, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ok thanks a lot, I thought of making a UCE so I could learn more about how the hacks work, I've been leeching Maple Story since .27 xD.
