Before I start, if this is in the wrong section, don't put suggestions in the description of this section.

Okay, I'm no Delphi expert, so I wouldn't know if its possible, but do you suppose a scan filter that took out every address and value that couldn't be divided by eight would be able to work? I say this because in Flash 8 and 9, they're a ton of extra addresses and values that you really don't need, which would really make certain (less used) hacks easier. So I propose to Dark Byte; if you are making a new version of Cheat Engine, please consider including this filter. Or to any others who support this idea; help contribute to making a mod for this Smile.

My contribution: (I'm learning pascal atm).
Use the code below if you want a bsod Razz.

Code:
If {var of addresses} = 8 then
  Keep? lol
If {var of addresses} = 16 then
  Keep? lol
If {var of addresses} = 24 then
  Keep? lol
If {var of addresses} = 32 then
  Keep? lol

^sucks bad, so I'm going to go learn more stuff O_O^[/code]

perhaps, but what if the 3 other bits in the value are used for something ? (e.g values after the seperator?)
Oh, in case you didn't know, the 'multiply by 8' is just shifting the value 3 bits to the left, so a binary scan can find it as well

also, when scanning for a exact value thats also not needed

Hey DB what about a filter for scanning all types at once?
I know it would lag like hell, But could be cool to help find some unknown address's quicker by not having to do scans in each type till you find it.

do a binary decimal scan.
That will also find floats (since the full value is still coded in decimal form, just located at a different bitpos with a exponent if needed, so 2000 may be coded as 2 with a exponent of +3)

it'll show you the meaning of 'lag'
