I don't know if this is the correct place to post...but i'm really desparate to know, does proxy really speed up the connection of the game server to our modem/ router? Connecting to a proxy doesn't allow you to keep the connection, but use it for the time being. You won't get lower lag, but you might experience more actually.

It's not about how fast the internet speed is, but its more about where u're located at. I am now currently living in malaysia, part of a south east asia country, and silkroad's server is located at south korea, so its more like distance lag.

As for .DreaMz., did u look at this article, http://www.freetoplay.org/item/978 ? Please read this article, and could you tell me why he can have faster connection/ connect to server and play without lag by setting a proxy.
