im not much into pointers. i think you can have as many pointers as you wish.
pointers is for so you dont need to search again all time? correct me if im wrong. Pointers search for where your health (or anything else) adresses is, so you just need to attach then CE and open your cheat table.
Read tut 8 in the built-in tutorial in CE for more info on pointers.

Your post can be taken two ways, Petros. It can be taken as how many pointers can you use, or how many pointers can a game have. I'm going to assume the latter and say....a lot. I doubt anyone knows just how many.
Will you have to search for them again? Depends. If the games uses dynamic memory allocation, then yes, you will, unless you find the static address for, say, health. Freezing and poking values is one way of cheating, but you'll find that with health, it's still possible to be killed even with a value frozen. I have a game right now I'm playing, and what i did was find the temp address for health, and find out what writes to that address. See if you can't find out what decreases your health. Search values for your health, take a hit...search again for the new value, and repeat if necessary until you find one address, and change it back to max health. If its the right addy, find out what writes to it. This is where knowledge of assembly comes into play in the art of game hacking. If you replace the code that is decreasing your health with code that does nothing, then you just wont lose health when hit. Keep in mind that games are different. For example...my game...I need two nops on two addy's because the damage taken from magic attacks is subtracted by a different address than weapon attacks. If you aren't sure about assembly, post what hits you ge ton what writes to that addy, and the values of everything...Another thing to note is some games even change the addresses of the code that decreases health or whatever. Maybe you'll get lucky. If this isnt how you want to do it, then sorry for wasting your time. I just find it to be an easy answer to pointers for some games.
