How do I cheat?

first of all,hello,i'm new to this forum and to cheat engine.and now to the problem:
in step 4 of the cheat engine turorial,i change ammo and health to 5000 but i can't press next.why?

Because you did something wrong I would guess. Try it again. Either that or you ran into a weird problem caused by windows.

try setting it above that, and that also might be where you need to use pointers to change the value.

Thats whats wrong, he is setting it to 5k and when he hits the button it is not >= 5k afterwards. Good answer ;P
