Its hard to trust people online if you dont even know them. Cheat engine should have a thing were there are different lvls of trust on it like maybe a trust bar or something like the more posts you have the more trusted you are. Or you have to be verified like so cheat engine can harm you some how if your scamming please post what you think. also if you can posts your reasons why or why not

well the rep counter under your forum name picture(avatar ) can be used as a sort of trust bar I suppose, a big negative rep can show someone is not very trustworthy sometimes.
most times it indicates spam or flaming,
but you can have a peek and see they got them for posting trojans and such things,

how bout peeps that just joined? how can you judge if they are trustworthy or not... lets take me for an example... i wanted to release a UCE but i cant post any link cause i'm new so people thought i'm scamming and so my thread was closed...
i think maybe we should have some recommendations... cause people who come here might know somebody who already in here... and for me i know a lot... then and there in our registration we can say who invited us and ask that dude for his recommendation level about the new guy... or if he even really know the guy... or something like that...

Here is why its a bad idea. Some noob can sign up, ask a question, get told to read something, not like it, and de-rep you just like that. So what credibility does the reputation meter have in that regard?
Besides...trusting ANYONE over the internet, other than real life family and friends, is foolish and naive to say the least!

yes its wise to be careful about who you trust ,
but if you read what I said about negative reps again.......... I said to look for negative reps that said things like THANKS FOR THE TROJAN... ect,
that sort of thing,, there's not much to guide you on forums ,you just have to check other peoples experience with that poster,
if you got a virus or some password stealer from another user what would be one of the first things you would do,
tell everyone you could as fast as you can,
one way to do that would be to de-rep that user and say that you de-repped them for maleware,
just a way of using something that is already on the forum,
generally anything uploaded on the cheat engine formum is checked and any nasty uploads gets the culprit de-repped with the reason and banned for the crime,
so at least some effort is made here and the admin and mods know more about unsafe shit than the vast majority of sites you will visit..
the other solution is to never download anything from anywhere is case it is unsafe,, because anyone can set up a website with maleware on it.
