Cheat Engine

Ok, I've been foolin around with a position...well, not really hack, but editing. I've found my X-axis and can freeze it so that I cannot move across on the x axis. However, when experimenting, i noticed that copying a value from a certain place, moving and pasting the same value, I ended up in a different place, off the map usually. I have been unable to find a pointer to it, although knowing me, i probably just didnt find it. If there is something important I am missing, such as a step or two I am missing, I would love to find out. Also, I'm still considered a CE "noob" but I'm catching on a little. So any help is help at all. Thank you

Be more specific, please. Is it possible that the game is storing the position value in a different byte size then you used?

It's probably possible, seeing as I didnt search using all of the available byte sizes. And which part should i be more specific on, so i know what to go into in-depth.

BTW- if it matters, this is an online MMO, although i doubt position is stored server side.

I dont know why everything is a secrete,whats the game? It isnt like your the first person to ever see anything like this before lol.

Position in game act different for each game.

I found in " Pirate King Online" You can pan the cameras and move the player, Funny stuff happens, Your health and name stay in the original location lmao. Another thing you can move the name and health and the char stays in original location heh.

But if you tried to move when you move the char and name or even the cam you get stuck, jumping back and forth in game.

whoops, sorry about that span of time, my internet was down for awhile. The name of the game is Thang Online. no secret, just didnt figure anybody would want to download it just to help me, i figured it didnt matter. But if you are willing, lol, thats another story. I would prefer not to be a leecher though so if you wouldnt mind, just point me in right direction, it'll help me learn more.
