Hello! I lurk here now and then and I hate to make my first post ever a complaint, but I'm eager to learn more about Cheat Engine (outside the basics), but I find that while *searching* is somewhat useful, it may not be helpful to someone who needs a very clear and concise answer or very... hmm, skilled words to convey a lesson. What I mean to say is that, there is plenty of information... But it's all over the place, as if someone loaded their 12 gauge with a various paints and started shooting the walls.

Might I suggest that there be one sticky to organize all the information, as well as separate the trash/spam from respectable and informational posts? An example:

Thread Title: The Big Thread to All the Resources

Body:

Code:

[b]Beginner Tutorials[/b]
http://forum.cheatengine.org/thistutorial123 - Read this, I thought it was an excellent tutorial for beginners, if you know absolutely nothing, start here!
http://forum.cheatengine.org/somewhatmore321 - Doesn't start from the very very beginning, but it adds some nice additional information to the above... If you want to know more about such such and such then look here.

[b]Intermediate Tutorials[/b]
If you've gotten the basics, you know how to run cheat engine and know what searching values does, and how to edit addresses, freeze values, and more... then:
http://forum.cheatengine.org/intermediate123 - Starts off with some very intermediate (note not for a friendly beginner) techniques, such as pointers, break points, and more... Even if you know nothing about the afformentioned topics this should help you along.

Etc etc, and it would go on... Preferably, someone who actively reads and can rate the tutorials so that 2 liner posts, or posts that aren't very clear and will not be beneficial to a beginner can be kept out of the big resource thread.

Of course, this is a lot to ask, and I would do it if I had the power, but I find that I search a good amount of time to find a decent tutorial because there are so many that aren't very lengthy or do not provide clear explanations.

And, I believe it would help many a beginner, to have a one stop post where they can just go down the line and learn everything from top to bottom as opposed to sifting through the endless ocean of posts and piecing things together, and whether they're "up to that point" or not.

Hopefully some other lonely soul out there has noticed the same, and could support this movement.

[edit] - In example, I have no idea what a break point is, and I conduct a search in the tutorials section in order to find this information... I click a few points, but they are only meager references among already skilled cheaters talking about it to one another... No clear explanation or anything about this is shown.

Well the tutorials section is all messed up with posts that do not belong.
This is why DB is going to get a moderator for it. So it will be much easier to find a tutorial and not some spam or someone asking for help.

I'm working slowly towards moving all these "main" topics to the right section . If you think anything should be moved just drop me a PM .
