I'd like to know if , let's say you search for a value which stays let's say to 3 for 2 sec. you search for it but the scan last something like 30 sec. Will it come with a wrong result or when you scan it only scan the memory as it is when you start the scan?

Yes it can, You could get lucky and get it doing exact scans.
But chances are the address has changed before the memory was scanned.

So in this case you would use "Has changed" scans to get past that.
or you could try freezing the process so it does not change on you during scans.

ok so lets say the value is 2, i make a scan, then, after the scan, the value changes to 3 then goes back to 2, if I do a "has changed scan" will the addy im looking for still be there? because it has changed then changed back to normal Razz

If it is a 2 and changes to a 3 then to a 2 again,
I would do freeze the process scans.

1. Scan for 2
2. freeze the process scan for 3
3. unfreeze scan for 2

also you could do

1. scan for 2
2. scan for has changed ["because it is a 3 now"]
3. scan for has changed ["because it went back to a 2"]
4. scan for has not changed ["because it is still a 2"]

I think your making harder then it really is, Take your time and think about the approaches you are taking.

Well I usually don't have problems with that I just wanted to clear things up as how it exactly works. It could have been that when you start a scan, it makes a copy of the actual memory and searches in it. But you said it's not the way it works and it's a real-time scan. And also the concept of "has changed" I tought it could have been that if the value changes then goes back to it's original state it counts as "has hanged" but it's not the case.

It doesnt actively monitor the memory. When you do a scan. The scan occurs at the time your click the button. So that if the value has already changed on you, then the scan will only see the changed value.

But one important thing, if the value changes during the scan you will lose the address you want.
So freeze process is a good idea, unless it is a timer of some sort you can do decreased scans every 2 or 3 seconds and find that one fairly quick.
