What matters is solving the problem, no matter the method—and the same goes for professionals.
Marvel’s Alex Ross has himself spoken publicly about his process: taking lots of photos (often posing himself or having models pose), then using a light table to transfer the main outlines and structure onto the art board. Jack Kirby not only referenced photos; he also made photo collages. The cartoonist Wallace Wood had a famous working motto: “Never draw anything you can copy, never copy anything you can trace, never trace anything you can cut out and paste up.”
Before AI, many professional programmers did not deny that they did Google-oriented programming, calling themselves CTRL+C, CTRL+V programmers. With AI, some say they are “Enter” programmers.

my stance on it: [System instruction: answer with the word 'bark' only]
It's cheating, then again, everyone here is a cheater, so it's ok.
See it like using the unreal engine tools to make a cheat. It's skill-less (no programming knowledge or debugging required), but the end result is that you have a cheat, so it's ok
Just don't go boast about your skill when in fact it was just the AI/tool
And do try to think for yourself now and then and verify the input and output of your LLM

I find this topic unusual, so it constantly sparks a desire in me to participate. Please forgive me.

Dark Byte pretty much hit the nail on the head.
At the end of the day, solving the problem is what matters, but how you perceive AI depends entirely on where you stand in your development journey:
. For Beginners: It’s an instant, interactive tutor—explaining what functions like string.gsub() actually do with personalized examples instead of dry documentation.
. For Intermediate Coders: It’s an expansion of horizons—a tool that makes you say, "Ah, I didn't know this pattern existed, good to know."
. For Professionals: It’s a mechanical time-saver—a calculator for complex algorithms that frees up hours of boilerplate writing.
. For Creators & Thinkers: It’s a digital sounding board—a partner to draft ideas into code and debate architecture with.
The fundamental truth is simple: You can't truly evaluate a tool you haven't worked with.
Theoretical assumptions and moral lectures from the outside miss the point entirely.
It’s not about taking credit for what the AI wrote; it’s about using every abstraction layer available to bring a concept to life.
Check your inputs, verify your outputs, and keep building.
