Cheat Engine

I'm pretty new to cheat engine so please be gentle.

Trying to change the amount of money in my account in DarkBazaar by searching for the original amount, then making a purchase and searching for the new amount but it's coming up with no results that match both so I'm kinda stumped.

If anyone could help me find a way to change the value or even knock together a quick and easy table for me I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance for any help and have a great day!

maybe it's stored as total cents, or a float type, or something else

try a binary scan, or try a changed/unchanged scan , in combination with saved scanstates to compare against

I know it's a bit late but I found a solution that worked for me

1) Before your first scan go to;
- Settings
- - Scan settings
- - - MEM_MAPPED:.....xyz..... (I'm to lazy to quote what it actually says, but there's only one thing that says MEM_MAPPED)

If that is unchecked, check it.

1b) Change scan/value types to;
Scan Type: Unknown initial value
Value Type: ALL

2) DO THE FIRST SCAN

3) Buy or sell something in game
- If you bought something, change the Scan Type to Decreased Value
- If you sold something, change the Scan Type to Increased Value

4) DO NEXT SCAN

5) Do this over and over again. Your initial scan will probably give you something like 4.3 billion results (that's normal). After your seccond scan, I think mine went down to like 1M results, then maybe 100K-200K results and so on until I got it down to about 8 results.

In the results, under the "value" collumn, I saw 3 results that had the same value as my money. So I grabbed them and then changed them.

Lastly, in game, buy/sell something and you should have the changed money values.


It's long winded and a massive pain, it might not even work for you, but this is what worked for me so I thought I'd share
