If a class has multiple methods with the same name you can pick between the class by providing the parameters

for example : System.Net.HttpListener:Close() and System.Net.HttpListener:Close(bool force) will both give a different address

And if they have they take the same parameters, you can pick based on the return type.
How do you get the base address of the picked method though?

you just use it like that in a script or use getAddress('System.Net.HttpListener:Close(bool force)')

there's no return type filtering , only parameters. In the edge case of no different parameters and return type only , use lua

I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, but if the class is a generic class with methods returning T, you can obtain the address of the method using [TypeYouWant]

Spine.ExposedList`1+Enumerator[System.Int32]:get_Current
