Hi!
I'm a little new to Cheat Engine and I have a problem that I can't find a solution for on the internet.
I have found the value I want to change by comparing scans and everything. I am a 100% sure this is the one, as this is the only one that comes up once I make a change to my player's health.
My problem is when I double-click on the value to change the health, I input a new number and when I click on "ok", it… doesn't change?
The last time I used cheat engine, in 2025, it worked for the exact same thing.

The only thing that changed between then and now is that I updated cheat engine.
I first had the problem of needing to disable my sip (I'm on mac), which I did and could finally use it.

I am on the trial version, if it changes everything.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me what may be the problem, or if it's a known bug.

is the target process running under rosetta ?

If so, attach the gdb debugger interface to the game first

How can you know if the target process (the game?) is running under rosetta? (What's rosetta?)
I'm playing Deltarune.

I've tried to attach the gdb debugger to the game, but I get the message "failure to connect".
When I get to this point (see attachment), should I change something to the text/numbers?

when you're on the latest mac version it should tell you that and ask you if you wish to attach the debugger else you won't be able to write code
