The error is in the image

DWORD XInputGetState(DWORD dwUserIndex, XINPUT_STATE *pState);

XINPUT_STATE state;
<-- causes the issue on this line, and is caused by calling the function
if (!XInputGetState(0, &state))

Make sure you’ve zero-initialized your `XINPUT_STATE` structure before passing it:

it only triggers on XInputGetState(& /*HERE*/)

change it to "unsigned int XInputGetState(DWORD dwUserIndex, XINPUT_STATE *pState);"

fixed in the upcoming CE version
