Hello, recently I have switched from a HDD to an SSD and cheat engine keeps giving me this error on start up
I'm assuming its due to the SSD because that's the only thing that changed on my pc
I added an image to show what error its giving me
I dont think I can more than 1 image at a time so the other thing that I found out is that on "Disk management" there s 100mb "EFI" partition that's unnamed but I cant do anything with that
so I wonder if that's causing the problem too[/img]

The error "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1." in the image indicates that Cheat Engine was unable to find a disk while trying to access it.
You mentioned that you upgraded to an SSD, and you believe this may be causing the problem. The order or lettering of the disks may have changed during the upgrade. Cheat Engine's previous configuration may be trying to find a disk that no longer exists or is under a different letter/path.
We can try a few steps to resolve the issue:
Reinstall Cheat Engine: The simplest solution is to completely uninstall and reinstall Cheat Engine. This may allow the program to recognize your new disk configuration. During the uninstall process, be sure to delete all the program's configuration files and any leftovers.
Run as Administrator: Try opening Cheat Engine by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator." This can help the program gain the necessary permissions to access disks and memory.
Troubleshooting: You can use Windows' built-in "Troubleshooter." Right-click the Cheat Engine shortcut, select "Troubleshoot," and follow the steps. This can check if the program is configured for an older version of Windows.
EFI Partition: The 100MB "EFI" partition you see in Disk Management is normal and typically contains the Windows boot files. Modifying or deleting this partition can cause your computer to not boot, so I recommend leaving it untouched. It's unlikely that this partition is directly causing the Cheat Engine error. However, if it's corrupted in some way, Windows may need to be repaired.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, make sure you're using the latest version of Cheat Engine. Sometimes older versions are incompatible with newer hardware or software configurations.
If you need more help resolving the issue, please share the steps you've tried and the results so I can suggest more specific solutions.

Ok reinstalling cheat engine fixed, idiot me should've tried that before asking for help lol.
As for the drive, its exactly the same so that's what was weird, it was C: when i had the HDD and its still is C:
Which is odd, its also odd that only cheat engine gave me this issue, nothing else.
But oh well, now it works so, thanks for the help.
