I was thinking on something:
Pointers and pointer scans seem to benefit from there being multiple systems involved. If that's the case, it would make sense to have a repository for people to share their pointer scans. Of course, this is given people don't get malicious. What's the chance of something like this existing? Would it be beneficial to have?
If it doesn't exist, it could be made. I'm certain that I could come up with a solution, or that others could.
EDIT:
Sorry if this is in the wrong area. Still new and not familiar with where everything goes.
it's a good idea. I was thinking about pointermap sharing so people can refine their results with the maps of other people
Would you prefer it on-site or in a repository of some sort? I guess that's really the major factor on how it's done. A repo would probably cost money as time moves forward, since keeping old pointers for old games would be likely. The amount of needed space would climb rapidly. _________________
