I have a problem loading the script for a cheat table for a game. it just says the following:
<<Lua error in the script at line 1:Failure determining what aobStaticFind means>>

What is that and how do i fix it?

Update: Since the 7.5 Update of Cheat Engine, NO table for NO game works.

You may be missing some extension as aobFindStatic is not a default part of CE

Yeah but what extensions should i miss? I seem to missing something important because NO GAME works.

If you do not need that custom script to run, then you can locate the file in your autorun folder and remove it.

Sorry for the late answer but i dont find anything with static find in this folder.

It would be located within the file itself. You will have to do some digging. I am only assuming that it is a Lua script.

You can try renaming the autorun folder or temporarily moving it outside of the CE sub-folder to see if the problem persists.

Renaming or moving did not solve the problem sadly. I am too dumb to find anything that is about aobStaticfind.

If you are running any sort of mods, try removing them.

The problem is aobStaticFind isn't defined. This probably isn't caused by an existing Lua extention, but by one that's missing.

Look at the page the cheat table was released at again and see if there's instructions you missed. e.g. something like "requires this Lua extention here: URL". If there's nothing, tell the original table author to fix their table. They made the table in such a way that there's no easy way for anyone else to fix it.

Removing a mod did NOT solve the Problem. I will try the instructions again and see if i failed something. Thanks for the answers. I will post here if anything worked.

PS:
The Instructions dont tell anything about extensions. They are just for summoning items in the game so still no idea how to fix it.

Yes i know i already tried it and it didnt work. I also tried downloading and installing all extensions from the Cheat Engine Website and also unistalling them one by one. No Solution yet. I hope that either a new version of the Table or the Engine itself may fix it.

You can't fix it. There's nothing wrong with CE. This is a problem with whoever made the table.

If the table author didn't try to protect their trainer, then other people could help. But they did, and they're the only ones who can fix it. Ask them to fix it themselves or, if they won't, upload a version without decodeFunction so that other people can fix it.

It's technically possible to decompile the bytecode passed to decodeFunction, but I'm not going to put that much effort into fixing someone else's stupid mistake. Especially so when they've gone out of their way to make it difficult.

PS: Just to be clear, you get that error when you open the Lua script (Table -> Show Cheat Table Lua Script) and click on the "Execute script" button at the bottom, right?

I get that error when i try to activate the table. The whole table turns red instead of green and when i right click it, it gives that error

PS:
By the way is it normal that when i click Table - Show Cheat Table Lua Script - its empty.

I guess it's fine. The author for some reason decided to put the Lua code for the trainer in an AA script.

There's still nothing you can do about it other than blame the author of the table.
