FWIW, in the last few weeks I've lost a good amount of work due to unexpected "access violation" errors out of nowhere that stopped everything from working, even stopped my ability to save my cheat table until I shut down CE (thus losing the work). I don't recall that happening with previous versions so maybe there's something to this. I just assumed I was having bad luck and hadn't mentioned it before seeing this.
When it comes to an AOB script working the first time but then after you deactivate it it stops working, that happened to me in the past when a script was failing to restore the EXACT correct original bytes upon disabling. So, when I was disabling it was creating a new unrecognizable pattern that the script AOB didn't match. Meaning only after restarting the game would the script work again, because it will only find the exact original bytes. You might need to adjust what happens in the disable section to make sure it's restoring exactly right.
I would enable the autosave feature within Cheat Engine settings to make sure things like this don't cause much damage. But that said, emulators can be quite volatile. They are not the most stable software given they are emulating a whole other system's architecture.

Good idea! I actually didn't know Cheat Engine had an autosave feature shockingly so that should help, I might swap to 7.4 for now but 7.5 just has some great added in features 7.4 doesn't have sadly. But I should probably try and see if it's still happening on 7.4 as far as my injection copies goes because honestly I don't remember any of my scripts being so troublesome even on the same emulators I've been using. I do understand it's different to like a standalone game and it took me a bit of time (months) to understand how to even make scripts for emulators even when helped especially when comparing out stuff but not all require filters thankfully.
So if this still happens on 7.4 then I know it'll be on my end it's just it doesn't make sense because nothing changes besides just a relocation in memory (DMA), all bytes stay the same. And most of the time it works fine and keeps the address updated.
To answer your response Autem since I can't double post yet I actually did some digging and nothing caught my eye that would cause it sadly... Like whenever it does happen I actually go and look up the AOB just to see and every single time it's been fine but maybe there could be something, I just don't remember it being this problematic for me. As LeFixer mentioned emulators can be weird with memory but I just haven't ever had issues like this before. I'm not really doing too serious of a script it's just simply grabbing my address so I can modify it on the fly unless I have to filter out addresses which in this case I don't have to. I'm gonna try 7.4 again when I get time and see if something changes and if so I'll stick to that, I just like keeping software up to date.
Update: So it's on my end as far the AOB goes, going to try and see what I can figure out.
Last Update: I wanted to remove this post because it's solved besides that one that actually is a bug and I'm sure DarkByte seen this but I can't remove this lol. So everything works flawlessy now besides the consistent access violation part upon closing previous debugger windows. There was one other address that my script was grabbing instead of the one I wanted but I didn't know till after I disabled the script because the one I had activated wasn't showing Thanks for the help! _________________
