Hi, I just updated my CE and I see a new scan checkbox for "active memory only" and I was wondering if anyone can give me some thorough explanation of what exactly that means and some examples of when/where it might be useful?

it's useful for games that allocate tons of memory but don't use everything at the same time
e.g. a tripple a game might use 25GB of virtual memory but henerally only has 3GB of RAM in memory. This option will make CE only scan the 3GB and reducing the amount of results and sometimes even time
for best results press the X button next to it so the game will lose all it's assigned RAM. Then access the value you're interested in so it gets loaded into RAM and then do a scan. _________________

I think I get it. So like if I was trying to find the HP value of an enemy I could clear the ram first, then immediately hit the enemy to bring their energy down a bit, then start my "unknown initial value" scans from that point and I should find the HP faster with less unrelated results?
