i am making a pvz mod now, and when i want to save the code with olly, the game crashed, then i found the following problem:
in the code it contains | Quote: | | call CELUA_ExecuteFunction | , which will become | Quote: | | call luaclient-i386.CELUA_ExecuteFunction | in memory view (in cheat engine), and after saving the code with ollydbg (to make the changes pernament), i attached the pvz to cheat engine and look back the | Quote: | | call CELUA_ExecuteFunction | and it become (or other random address if i save again) which doesnt exist in my game, causing the game crash, (which is similar to the newmem thing), what should i do to fix this?

im using cheat engine, but can i do sth like calling the function inside the pvz but not luaclient (like changing newmem to the address in pvz), because i want the pvz can run the code itself without cheat engine opening

luaclient requires cheat engine to be running, have the luaserver running, and have the function defined that is being called

then can i make the code no need require luaclienr?
or can i make a file that store the lua script and make pvz can run the thing inside that file?

the lua script likely requires cheat engine itself (it's memory scanning, symbols, memory access, etc...)
if not then i guess you could write your own dll that implements something similar in the programming language you know
