Value changes back - Noob question

Hi

I tried to find GOLD value in a game called Hero's Hour, tried the simple search and find the address but if you change the value it switches back immediately

Then I tried to use the Unknown Value and ALL to see if I can find the real value but they end up with the same issue. i.e. whatever you change it goes back immediately

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I should try next?
