I'm honestly surprised this website is still running. 20 years is a long time for some forum about a fringe game hacking tool. I wonder how much money Dark Byte has earned from this project, and if he still is making money from it today.

You do realize that this game hacking tool is the standard right |
I do, but I think it's a pretty notable that it has retained that title for so long. The internet in 2003 was a lot smaller than the internet of 2022. I guess you could call that the power of being open source, but I'm just surprised competition hasn't came in like it has with everything else on the internet. I guess silicone valley must have not found a way to monetize game hacking (or rather, they didn't want all the legal trouble that comes with creating a game hacking tool).

This is a testament to Dark Byte, not to being open source.
Putting up with all the shit involved his continued support is commendable, nothing short of a lifetime achievement award (if there were such a thing for a tool like this).
For the record, the tool is not used only to hack games - it is also used by legit developers to test/harden their software, security analysts and white glove hackers.
