Im working with the game Rome Total War Remastered.
Im trying to find the address of the Reputation.
But so far i cant find it, because to change reputation, you need to betray your allies.
And it never goes up.
So i can only change the reputation like 2 or 3 times.
It goes from 80 to 40 then to 0.
Then it does not change again.
And it leaves me with thousands of results.
So how do i search further for it?
I tried searching for the exact values 80 and 40. And it gives no results.
It just what i dont understand is how can we search for values that only change 2 times.

It's likely possible to find just by searching through different datatypes. If you aren't finding it under 4byte exacts, it's probably something else like a float (more likely since it's a %).
Try searching for the floats 0.8, 0.4, etc.

Thank you. But i got no results. I tried floats 0.8, then changed it, decrease value, also exact value another time. Also tried 8.0.

| Then, my next best suggestion would be to generate a pointermap and iterate through the results of that between restarts, as it should allow you to find the common base address, but there may be better suggestions available.

So in that case the first search of the pointer map is supposed to be blank?
Or what do i search for considering we dont know how the system is representing the value?
