Hi all,
I am using Memory Viewer->View->All strings and I dump them to disk.
I don't want all strings though, just the ones that a 6 characters or longer, but no more than 20.
A RegExp can be specified for the search.
I there a RegExp that would get me that?
You know, min. 6*( (alpha) or (digit) or (_) or (-) ) but max. 20*( (alpha) or (digit) or (_) or (-) ).
Strings with spaces, tabs, %*&, etc. are to be excluded.
Thank you!

i dont believe there is a support for this.

so far i used it to filter text, example:

kernel | user tells CE to list entries that contain either kernel or user.

that is all i know.

What do I need to do to exclude kernel?
That should cut down quite a bit.
Thank you!

CE uses the pascal function GenerateRegExprEngine, documentation of syntax here:
https://regex.sorokin.engineer/en/latest/regular_expressions.html

I think this should work for you:
Code:
[\w\-]{6,20}
