Cheat Engine

Hello! I would like to ask for your help for i am struggling to find a value in a game called Freediving Hunter : Spearfishing the World. I do not know much about cheat engine so i am sorry if there is anything wrong with the question or the explanation i am about to give.

So when you start the game you are level 10 and your Lung Capacity stat is shown as 30 in the menu in the stats section, this represents the number of seconds you can hold your breath. This stat increases by 1 (second) every level up. Also in game when you are underwater there is a timer decreasing ,starting at the max value of the Lung Capacity stat, (if the stat is 30 the timer decreases from 00:30) meaning the number of seconds left until blackout.

What I am trying to do is find the value coresponding to this ''Lung Capacity'' in game stat and change it to a higher value.

What I tried to do:

- First I tried to scan for an exact value. I scan for 30, the next scan was 31 ( after one level up), but at the third scan there was no result.

- Then I tried to change my level in the same manner, it worked, but i got to level 50 without any level up bonus to the Lung Capacity stat.

- I tried to change my level by adding Xp so I can get the stat upgrade, but the game doesn't show any xp number, it's just a bar that is filling up.

- What kinda worked was searching for a decreasing Float value. So when i was underwater i paused the game, the timer was for example at 00:25. i searched for the 25 float value, then next value, until i found the address for the decreasing timer corresponding to the stat. This indirectly did what i wanted for i can change it to have more time underwater , the same thing that i wanted to achieve by changing the Lung Capacity stat. The problem is that you have to change it every time you go underwater for it resets on surface to the same smaller value. And this is not a practical solution for you resurface after every fish you catch. I don't know if it is possible by knowing the address of the timer to find the adress of the stat that says what the max value of the timer is.
