Hello guys and thank you for reading this.
I did some pointerscans for specific address and got like 30 pointers with different number of offsets.
I chose one, that had 3 offsets and it appears, that it's pointing to the correct value after every restart.
What confuses me is, that when i dbl click the pointer to see the offsets it instantly breaks and starts pointing to "????". I didn't change anything just dbl clicked it. After a gamerestart it points to the correct value again.
Could someone explain me whats going on there?

The pointerscan results view uses a cache of the modulelist. If the module gets changed due to a reload the cache is wrong (Doesn't affect rescans)
To refresh it, rightclick and choose "resync modulelist"

Thank you Dark Byte for you fast answer.
But i can't find the "resync modulelist" function.
Maybe i showed my situation wrong.
I used the pointerscanresults and dbl. clicked one of them to add it to the addresslist.
And after dbl. clicking it in the address list on the main window it starts pointing to nowhere.
Sorry if i'm a bit hard understanding.

Well i now know that you meant with "Resync modulelist" but that doesn't solve my problem.
I got a pointertable and everytime i start the game and attach CE the pointers are working fine. But when i click the pointer to lets say change the offsets, it suddenly points to "???".
And from now on i can't add pointers manually because "Game.exe" is shown red and it seems like CE can't find the baseaddress anymore. After restarting the game and CE adding a pointer with "Game.exe" works fine again.
Is my CE broken?

Well i still have that problem and can't figure out how to solve it.
After recreating it appears, that this problem occurs only after i used the memory view.
I made a short clip of playing around with pointers offsets etc. and suddenly after opening the memory view for some seconds it occured again. (I can't post the link to the Youtubevideo. May I send you a PM?)
After my pointers start pointing to ??? i still can search the memory and edit it. So it's still attached.
I would be pleased if you could explain me, how i can prevent this from happening. It's really annoying and takes so much more time.

I'm using the newest 7.1 for 64 bit. I changed the signature and windowname for not getting detected.

Try reattaching CE to the process when that happens. Perhaps the game has a anti cheat that causes CE to disconnect
