i am making self compiled CE to modify the CE process name.
but after compiling, An error occurs when clicking DBVM in about menu
(though It's available in the official CE 7.0)

showing a message that "You are missing the driver. Try reinstalling cheat engine, and try to disable your anti-virus before dong so",
so i got dbk64.sys(got it from this site) and moved it to bin folder.

but this time, showing a message that "The driver couldn't be opend!", so i can't run DBVM mode.

i use cheat engine source 7.0 with lazarus 2.0.4(FPC 3.2.0)

how to use DBVM mode with self compiled CE ?

sorry for my bad english, I hope you have no trouble understanding what I said

the dbk64 I provide does not listen to modified versions.

Either boot up your system with a DBVM bootdisk/efidisk so DBVM is loaded before windows starts, or you need to compile dbk64 yourself and testsign it yourself as well

Also, instead of compiling CE, you could try something like
Code:

MainForm.Caption='My custom name'
getApplication().Title='something'

I've compiled the dbk64 and there's a compilation error

I don't know why.

Could you tell me why the error is occurring?
