I was asking myself why cheat engine does save some codes with wrong values.
In epsxe im using 4byte values and the adresses have 8 digits.
Here is the clue: when saving and reimporting the cheat table some codes have wrong values "mostly the first 4 digits". The codes normally donīt change when restarting epsxe or CE. (As seen in the screenshot).
And the codes who have wrong values are allways the same. (Even i try to fix or re-add them)
Weird is when clicking a right code it displays the code like this "ePSXe.exe+B0BB30" and on a wrong one it only shows me the adress like "0164BB1C"
This bug still happens on CE "7.0". Same bug as in CE "6.7".
Im only adding different codes and save them in epsxe
In many games the values wont change even on level change so i donīt need to pointerscan.
In the screenshot it is clear to see what is happening (last digit remain identical)

You need to store the addresses in modulename+offset notation for them to get the correct address.
Easiest is doubleclick the green address you have found and then copy/drag that. _________________
