Cheat Engine lags a lot, delay mouseclick?

How do I cheat?

I am not sure what is the problem, first time using cheat engine and the application will just stuck after clicking on script, I can drag the tab around, clicking will show the button to be click but it won't close the menu or anything.

It's not like its using a lot of ram or CPU too.

Is the script checked or spinning?

Does the script contain lua code?

Did you attach the debugger or just open the process?
