On the downloads page Cheat Engine 7.0 is listed but when I try to download it the only download I get is for a search bar extension. I only want to try Cheat Engine 7.0 but all the download links lead to a browser extension installation.

Where is the actual download for Cheat Engine 7.0?

https://cheatengine.org - Giant green button. The search bar stuff can be ignored. When the loading bar ends there will be a button down begin downloading CE. It'll tell you to install the search bar app at the same time but just ignore that (close the tab it opens), CE should begin downloading at the same time.

While using the installer be sure to read the prompts to prevent installing other unwanted stuff.

Seems like CE is going really f***ing down hill... first it tries to install a chrome extension when downloading it.. then once you try to install it... it tries to install 3 pieces of adware... 2 of which you cant prevent from installing (Bytefence and some shitty search extension on chrome) if you actaully wanna install CE, cuz then it'll just cancel the installation.. whoever is in charge of that shit needs to get a fucking grip.
