Should this forum be rebooted?
This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY old forum. AND THE VERSION IS REALLY REALLY REALLY old. Should there be a new Cheat Engine forums??
Also, since Flash is not going to be supported, CE will become obsolete, unless there's CE for HTML5... which I hope is.
EDIT... IS there a link to the discord channel for Cheat Engine? Discord server? Please?

In a world full of gifs, pop ups, and badly scripted sites, CEF is kind of the home you know and love because it's the way you remember it.

CE is a memory editor, so pretty much everything is "supported". Laziness is about the only thing that doesn't work with CE.

Discord doesn't allow game hacking discussion, so they just get nuked. Best you can find is a collection of friends. Plus there is this thing called a forum, they work pretty good and actually preserve the contents so others can learn from what has already been discussed.

If it's not broken, why fix it? The forums do exactly what they are meant to do and allow for simple and straight forward discussions. There is no reason to upgrade it to anything newer just for the sake of being newer.

Like the others said, don't really think you have a clue how to use CE or what it does if you have a mindset like this lol..

Not sure where you've seen this but can't say I believe this is true. I'm in various communities regarding game hacking/reversing and none have ever had an issue.
If you are referring to the various remakes of the CE Discord, then that would be due to certain people causing drama constantly and deleting it out of spite/rage. Kind of a reason why a lot of people don't bother joining the remakes every time it happens.
Only other game hacking Discord I've seen deleted was UnknownCheats but was due to the same thing, kids with admin/ownership being kids. But never seen Discord staff ever force-remove any server regarding game hacking/reversing.

The FCF Discord server would get shut down with in hours, it was public and that with spiteful people lead to it getting deleted along with STNs account several times. But keeping it mostly privet fixes the issue.

I would lean more towards the people running it being the problem and causing the drama vs. Discord doing something/stepping in for any reason outside of personal violations. There are a lot of major hacking/cheating related servers publicly advertised that have been around since the start of Discord with no issues at all.
So I don't personally think it would be due to the nature of the server, but the people in it / running it instead.

i agree with Tim the forum is fine the way it is, i like its simplicity.
Three minor changes, and it would be perfect -
1, have a black background with white text.
2, and add a option to hide text when posting, so people quoting massive scripts can just hide that, and have a line or two for the question.
3, of course re open the trainer section for uploads.
And while i am asking for features, the best one cheat engine could get is a dark mode like apple has on mojave OS, while i was up late using cheat engine, the white background was was really bad for my eyes ( i did need sleep though ) but i was thinking i wish CE had a dark mode.
Aside from those thoughts CE is great i do enjoy using it, and that feeling you get when a good script comes together and works perfectly, thanks for all the hard work put into making CE what it is.

Most alter things like this using browser plugins. You can alter the style of any site easily with one. I personally use TamperMonkey and StyleBot for Chrome to mod the forum a bit for different colors.

As for a dark theme in CE, it's easiest to change your windows theme, as CE just uses the theme color of your windows install
The gui library doesn't support changing colors of certain things, like button background color, and textcolor of checkboxes

@atom0s that's a great tip, got a plugin called Dark Reader for Firefox,
and now the websites like 10x better, thank you very much that was a good tip.
@Dark Byte Thanks for the info, do you mean use the high contrast settings ?
That partially works but scripts, seems to remain white,
cant find on windows 10 how to change background color of open applications, but i will do a google search.
i am still going to hold out hope that CE gets a proper dark mode in the future.

I am using Window 7 Ultimate.
And here my personal script to change the basic aero theme to dark high contrast windows theme instantly. But, yes but scripts seems to remain white background.

@Dark Byte That works pretty well in the lua engine window (the framework would also need darkening for full effect)
Could that script be expanded to effect all CE windows ? and maybe then be put in the autorun folder.

Thanks for your answers everyone! And yes, I only realized after the posts tht CE works for HTML5 as well. I'm so embarassed to be this stupid. I just haven't figured out how to hack html5 games with ce but I think I'll watch a video about that.
I do hve some experience in hacking games, but just a little. i've hacked some flash games, is all.
