Hi! I have a little issue with CE. When I work with some game with CE I usually set to launch the game through CE tools. But two day ago I started the game normally through the desktop icon and I was surprised there is no any save game in the game which I have 40 hours played through CE tools. I was snooping around and found that the game launched through CE tools make different folder for save files. Normally the save files in my situation are in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\uPlay\CODEX\Saves\AssassinsCreedOrigins", but launched through CE save files are in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\uPlay\CODEX\Saves\UnnamedGame". I copied the files and pasted in the normal folder but it doesn't work, the game does not recognize them. Is there any explanation for this and maybe a solution? Thanks[/quote]

Might have to do that CE runs it under the admin account.
Try changing the desktop icon compatibility to administrator mode

It can also be a dumb bug in uplay that takes the name from the command line, and perhaps you forgot to provide that in the tools shortcut

Thank you Dark Byte for answering. I tried administrator thing and the problem still persists. I tried with the CPY game version and everything works fine, it appears that the problem is only with the CODEX version. Have to check this with other CODEX games
